Theme
The first virtual CPC Convention will no doubt be a rousing event. The swanky event is scheduled for April 27-28, 2023, and features a host of in person and online presentations, as well as some exciting offsite excursions. To kick things off, we've put together a lineup of the best speakers in a variety of industries and disciplines. Hopefully they will impress you and inspire the next generation of Chinese diplomats. We'll be keeping you informed about all the important upcoming events so that you can be ready to impress your guests on the big day. We'll also be presenting some of the most intriguing and exciting projects we've been involved with over the past several years in our latest newsletter. We hope you'll find the time to read it and if you have any questions or feedback we'd love to hear from you! We can't wait to share all our great ideas with you!
Speakers
The first virtual CPC Convention is the perfect opportunity to learn and share with a diverse group of professionals from across North America. Attendees will have the chance to network with fellow attendees, participate in debates on policy resolutions and constitution amendments, and vote for National Council elections.
The main conference theme is 'Inclusive, Accessible, Accountable and Strong Parliaments: the Cornerstone of Democracy and Essential for Development'. The event will feature speakers, presiding officers and Members of Parliament from the CPA's membership which includes 180 Commonwealth Parliaments.
Speakers and presiding officers from the UK, Australia and New Zealand will also be attending the CPC conference. They will discuss the role of parliamentary leadership and how they can ensure inclusive and accessible Parliaments in order to meet the needs of their citizens.
Speakers are responsible for ensuring that the Parliament of Canada and its institutions are operating effectively. They travel abroad on behalf of the Parliament, host foreign Speakers and serve as honorary Chairs for other Parliamentary Associations around the world.

A convention is a large formal meeting or assembly. It is an opportunity for a group of people to gather, debate and share ideas. It is also a place to showcase the latest and greatest in products, services and technology. A convention is often associated with a particular industry, such as the automobile or aerospace industries. A convention is typically held for one or two days and is a great way to network with potential partners. A convention is often held in a hotel ballroom or other public space. It may or may not have a snazzy name or logo. A convention may also feature a variety of entertainment options. A convention is often a good time to learn about new products and services, and to relive past experiences.
Registration
The first virtual CPC Convention is a great opportunity to get involved in politics without leaving home. You can register to be a Delegate or Member Observer*, and you’ll have the opportunity to debate policy resolutions and constitution amendments in real time from your own computer.
